Ardent readers of the Motern Media Wiki may look at this site in its current form and go, “Now wait a second, webmaster. You’ve just taken text from the Wiki and pasted it to your website. That’s nasty stinking plagiarism!”
And you’re quite right. It is in fact rude and crude to copy and paste text from one website to another and claim it as my own. That’s not creative. That’s not right. But I promise you, it will not always look like this!
I intend to edit the text and add more information from other sources as well as editorialize here and there. However, there is so much about the work of Matt Farley that I must get a handle on the organization of the website, and therefore I must work with an existing database!
Thus, the initial state of this website will look quite like the Motern Media Wiki, but as time marches on, it will become more of a scholarly work, rather than the hack job of someone who spends his days hitting Control+C and Control+V. Believe it!
