If Not Us, Who? is the twenty-second released album by Moes Haven, released on August 28, 2007. It has 13 tracks and a running time of 32:14.
The album was recorded in early 2005, and was originally released before Someone Else. It was part of a plan for the year to release four albums in pairs of two, each of which would be titled in question-and-answer fashion: If Not Us, Who? and Someone Else., and If Not Now, When? and Later. Moes Haven only recorded and released the first two albums; the last two were cancelled in favor of the band deciding to prepare songs for the 365 Project.
Matt Farley removed If Not Us, Who? from streaming services after finding out that he had committed an act of plagiarism for the track “I Wanna Get Free”. Friend Chris Sleison had shown him the lyrics to The Vines’ “Get Free”, and Farley found after writing, recording, and releasing the album that the two songs were too similar. The music from “I Wanna Get Free” would reappear slightly changed in thhe song “ready to split” on The Big Heist’s 2018 album MO75,Vol. 3 with different lyrics.
During the pause in recording after the 365 Project was finished, Moes Haven re-released their “lost” albums If Not Now, When? and This Is My Millennium!, both of which had been taken down from streaming services at around the same time. If Not Now, When? remains largely unchanged from its original version, except for the removal of “I Wanna Get Free” due to the aforementioned accidental plagiarism.
Dan Speake features on some tracks on the record, including “Lopin’ Through The Cosmos”.
The album’s cover features Farley and friends Charlie Roxburgh and Matt Sova during an afternoon of playing basketball. Tom Scalzo is not featured in the picture, but Farley says this “solidified the mystique” of the band.
“Come Back to Dakota” appears on the 2009 compilation It Takes a Lot of Guts!
